The faculty included Dr. John Thanakumar who was a pioneer of advanced laparoscopic surgery in India and Dr. Nagabhushan, an accomplished urologist from USA. The uniqueness of this conference was initiating a technology conference for the first time in the country for surgeons. Video streaming was done to 8 different cities for doctors to watch the conference live in their respective auditoriums in difference medical colleges and major hospitals. This is by far the first time video streaming technology was used in the country.More than 300 surgeons and gynaecologists registered as delegates for this pioneering conference and workshop at Bangalore city alone.
